Nick Mulvey’s video for new song, ‘I Don’t Want To Go Home’, is a great blend of beautiful scenery and performance footage. It’s an interesting juxtaposition of the tranquility of nature and the electricity of Mulvey’s live shows, as well as the contrast of nature and manmade structure. Over the artistic series of events, the song is a simple and beautiful acoustic-led track that builds and builds until – before you know it – it’s whirring its way around your […]

‘Meet Me There’ is one of Nick Mulvey’s more recent singles, and features on his debut album ‘First Mind’. It’s a nice summery acoustic song which sounds a bit like Ben Howard and Paolo Nutini had a little sit down on one sunny afternoon, which is always a pretty nice thing! The video has some beautiful artistic shots of Yemen, and it’s just a nice relaxing accompaniment to a chilled listen. That is pretty much my way of saying “I’m […]

While at Glastonbury, Nick Mulvey found some time between opening the Pyramid Stage on Saturday and checking out the rest of the festival to play a nice little acoustic track for the BBC, backstage in the BBC Music Teepee. This acoustic track, ‘Fever To The Form’, sounds absolutely beautiful and is one of the sweetest listens we’ve found from Glastonbury 2014 so far! It’d be a shame if anybody were to miss hearing it – so to avoid that shame, […]

It’s the perfect gig environment – a mix of cocktails, music and a venue atmosphere that is a nice mix of classy and informal. Famous Italian liqueur brand DISARONNO last night announced a series of rooftop gigs taking place in the UK with a range of new talent, and we’re very excited about this! The one-off series of rooftop parties, collectively know as DISARONNO Terrace, kick off on June 25 at Platform in East London with a special performance from […]

Nick Mulvey’s ‘Juramidam’ is a beautiful piece of acoustic songwriting that blows us away every time. The opening guitar harmonics are enjoyably interesting, finding a lovely middleground between gently relaxing and tense. Fans of Ben Howard, Ed Sheeran or any modern acoustic act will have a lot of love for this track, and Mulvey in general. The song is best suited for listening outdoors, on a gloriously sunny afternoon. But if you’re afraid of outdoors or the sun never shines […]
