Bizarro-pop outfit’s latest single walks the melodic side of craziness.
Sounding like The Strokes taking a toke on the beach, Her’s aren’t your typical indie-pop outfit. Sitting in a similar bizarro-pop vein to Trudy and the Romance, the band’s latest single Harvey packs the best elements of early-noughties indie-alternative with eccentric harpiscord sounds.
Just to truly underline the out there aspects of the band’s style, the titular Harvey is a reference to Mary Chase’s play of the same name, about a man who sees a six-foot-one-inch tall white rabbit. Well, that says it all really.
