The Golden Pony collaborate overseas on new single.

The modern interconnected world has brought us many great things, but arguably one of the best is the ability to collaborate easily with people in different countries and continents. Another of the great things modern life has gifted us with is electropop – and those two things go hand-in-hand.

Brooklyn based production duo The Golden Pony recently demonstrated this when it teamed up with the German duo Uplink for a track that is one part indie-pop ballad and another part festival banger.

Feel Like You’re Drowning is a crossover electropop hit that stays true to it’s title, pulling the listener in and engulfing them in waves of unforgettable melodies. Frequent vocal collaborator Dasha Akelin goes from whisper soft to full-on belt with seamlessly, displaying an impressive range effective for the building excitement.

Gathering synth and drum sounds from both sides of the Atlantic, the electronic duos have together created a dynamic tune that simply cannot be defined by a single genre. Isn’t collaboration great?
