With Summer drawing to a close now, those wanting to hold on to any feeling of the season will be looking for a song that can help. Fortunately, Amber Mark has just dropped the single you’ve been waiting for.

With new single Heatwave, Amber channels Latin percussion and big-room vocals into her usual pop stylings. The end result is an up-tempo, carnival-inspired single that channels Summer fun. Hardly surprising, since Amber herself has cited the Summer heat as a not-so-subtle influence.

“Heatwave just fits the feel of summer for me,” Amber explained. “It was getting hot in NYC and I was finally enjoying a break from the long winter.”
