New track from Speakman Sound is an epic adventure into the house of ambience.

 

Ambient music and house are two genres that very rarely clash or collide. However, Speakman Sound has dared to dream and the duo has brought the two sounds together into the atmospheric (and fittingly titled) new track Pangea.

Over the three minute runtime of the track, not a single word is spoken and you are instead presented with a developing musical ecosystem that grows before your very ears. Beginning with little more than background percussion and intermittent chimes, over time it grows into a pulsating electronic track bursting with energy and colour. It’s house as you’ve never heard it before and, while it might not quite fit into the typical sort of house playlist, it’s carving its own place in the genre.
