Indie-electro outfit share Tron-esque new video.

 

Stone Cold Fox, a four piece band from Brooklyn, create electro indie style music mixing rooted influences  with the classic modern sounds of today’s best known songs. They like to make music that’s upbeat, catchy and generally uplifting to the people. If the music wasn’t enough to give this impression, their latest music video for Change My Mind certainly is.

The indie-electro bursts of guitars certainly paint the perfect upbeat picture, as well as vocal melodies that penetrate the spaces the instrumentation cannot reach. It’s a perfectly well-rounded track, with a simple singalong chorus. But what really accentuates the track’s nature is the music video, feeling an awful lot like a hipster version of Tron. Cybernetic landscapes, mixed with geometric patterns and formations, all awash with technicolour to make for a mesmerising, fascinating and oddly cinematic experience.
