A free download of some mega future bass.

 

If you’re a fan of future bass or anything electronic with a damn infectious barrage of hooks, then we’ve got a treat for you: Opie Will Break Your Heart has just dropped the mega sounding instrumental Weep Woop.

It’s a strong case for the power of repetitive hooks layered atop one another in a way that structures a cross section of melodies for maximum effect. The end result is a track which steers a little bit towards Flume territory, but with enough distinction to stand in its own right.

In any case, there is absolutely no arguing with the synthesised strength of Weep Woop. For something with such a childish choice of name and a synth line that vaguely resembles the Lavender Theme tune for some odd reason, this track just doesn’t fuck around.
