Wow. Just… wow. That’s really all we can say about the video for Evil Scarecrow’s latest track ‘Space Dementia’. It’s so completely unexpectedly gripping that even people who don’t generally like the genre will find themselves drawn in.
‘Space Dementia’ itself is a fantastic piece of progressive heavy metal that stays very true to the space theme with a very spacey-sounding (it’ll make sense when you hear it) melody and some aspects of digitalised sounds.
The official video is equally as dramatic as the music. It’s best described as a sci-fi puppet dramatisation, and is worth watching for the novelty of a heavy metal puppet band if not for the amazingly well-produced video itself.
