If you’re in the mood for a little bit of a trip-pop fix, look no further than Kate Havnevik’s latest track ‘Emperor Of Nowhere’. It’s a beautifully sinister track with some amazing vocal work and some even better electronic sounds glugging around in the background.
The video, however, develops the sinister element and makes it unnervingly bizarre. It’s a very simple video, with Havnevik mouthing the track with varying degrees of body paint and background paint. But come on, just watch it. It’s pretty sinisterly unnerving. That might just be to me, and I am somebody who gets incredibly uncomfortable when watching the video to Muse’s ‘Supermassive Blackhole’, but judge for yourself below. Does it make you unnerved, just a little bit?
