Sometimes it’s just a good idea to have some piano music in your life. Enter The Sons with ‘Relic’, sounding every bit like Elton John fronting the Foo Fighters. It’s mostly a piano-led alt-rock ballad, but the rock-ready outro definitely rings true to a harder sound.
The video is straightforward enough, it’s mostly a scripted performance with the band appearing dusty and worn (you know, as if they were relics). But this song is worth listening to just for some out-there lines such as “I am the box office for Ghostbusters one, two and three”.
