Video: Jekyll – ‘I Do What I Can’

We’ve raved massively about Jekyll since this track and their EP came out, so it was only a matter of time until we covered this video.

Jekyll unveiled the video to ‘I Do What I Can’ not too long ago, and it’s a great video for a great song. It’s an unassuming one: it begins rather plainly, with shots of the band and a restrained performance video. But it’s cut with some great weird visual effects that grab your interest (you know, if the song wasn’t doing that already). And these visual effects bring out a slightly creepy, strangely sinister element in the song that you never really pick up on otherwise.

It’s rare for a video to genuinely add or amplify something within a track in this way, so for that reason we urge you to watch it. Also because the song is pretty fantastic and you’d be a fool not to.
