A hippy, trippy video with a guitar sound that sounds like it is chasing itself round in circles while ascending at the same time. With lyrics that sing straight to the heart of those jaundiced by the age of complacency and disillusionment, ‘TV Broke My Brain’ is a great track from Man Made. Spinning high-end accentuated guitars around a thumping rhythm section, it’s difficult not to enjoy this track. This video from Reading Festival 2014 catches the band performing the song, with vocals from Nile Marr that are naturally cool and rich in a sort of dreamy complacency that compliments the song’s lyrical theme.
