Ever wondered what it would be like if Simon and Garfunkel soundtracked a playtime war between children? Well, Hudson Taylor’s new video for ‘Battles’ is the closest you’ll get. The song is a great folk-rock piece that would fit comfortably into the pages of Simon and Garfunkel’s songbook. On a side note, I’m not sure I trust the parents of these kids. Who lets a kid play fight with a metal pot? Tut tut tut.
Hudson Taylor are, without a doubt, one of the finest new acts I’ve had the pleasure of listening to. And it’s great that their debut EP, ‘Battles’, showcases the level of musical capability and talent possessed by the duo.
