Excision stands strong and Apex lives up to its name.
Releasing a new selection of thrills for his army of fans this week is Excision, an artist who has well and truly conquered the bass scene with his mind-blowing live shows and impeccable productions over the years. Having been at the forefront for over a decade, he has just dropped his fourth studio album in the form of Apex.
There is much to love and respect on this LP. No longer content with just making dubstep bangers to make you want to hurl yourself at the speaker, Excision is changing his style up. Working with the likes of Sullivan King on tunes like Wake Up and Fight Through The Pain introduces some emotive, guitar-laden qualities into the mix, and the combination of elements works incredibly well.
Regular collaborator Dion Timmer shines with Excision on Home and the sharp Hoods Up ft. Messinian, whilst we love the LP closer Rumble with Space Laces.
There is honestly so much to love about Apex, and we urge you to give it a listen now. Hit play below!
