After more than a year, Maybon drops his version of a classic love song.

Maybon has had a steady slew of releases this year, and his sound is fast becoming more and more distinctive. The Norwegian now drops Lover, a tune being pushed through Sony Music Norway this week. A piercing vocal hook lays over the top of some futuristic riffs, encouraging the lyrics to become a focal point.

Discussing the track, Maybon muses,  “I’m really proud of Lover. It’s a song I’ve been working on for over a year and it’s evolved completely during that time. It’s my version of a classic love song and I made it with my generation in mind. It represents my style and my evolution as an artist.”
