Edgy electronic artist drops an infectious, feelgood anthem.

When you think of an anthem, it’s unlikely its got expletives embedded into both the chorus and the song title. Then again, Elohim has always enjoyed the thrill of doing things in a unique and edgy way; that more or less explains the choice to name her new single Fuck Your Money.

Despite the name, the warm bottled synths and message of love over finances is one that feels naively innocent, particularly when its bouncing atop a carefree drum rhythm and clap track. For the most part of the song, it’s almost as if Elohim has washed her experimental sound in an outwardly pop aesthetic.

But as the bridge comes around and Elohim relies solely on her vocal and a sample interjection, it’s hammered home once more: Elohim is an artist full of impressive musical curveballs and each one consistently hits the mark.
