Alt-rock outfit goes acoustic for MS centre.
Translating a rock single into an acoustic format always serves to make the track feel more emotional and heartfelt. That’s why alt-rock band TrueHeights opted to drop an acoustic version of City Lies to raise proceeds for the Bedfordshire & Northamptonshire Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre.
The acoustic version brings the melodies and harmonies of the single to the fore of the mix, along with some gentle instrumental nuances that showcase the musical prowess of the band.
Just to add a bit more credibility to the band and the charity cause, the music video for the song features a number of cameos from musical figures from bands including Madina Lake and The Smiths. It’s a well-rounded affair for a good cause.
