Listen// Junkyard indie pop

SEAZOO’s latest single distinguishes the band as a unique entry in the indie scene.

When Welsh outfit SEAZOO describes itself as being indie-pop, you have to ponder whether the band is using the label ironically. The band has a unique way with music, which sees it take pop elements and turn them into a wobbling haven of distorted noise-pop meets quirky absurdism.

You need look and listen no further than latest single Dig to confirm this. This latest effervescent number, concerning a re-occurring dream that eventually slips into waking life, sees the quintet showcase their trademark quirky tendencies with driving guitars and infectious vocals. Surprisingly, the band pulls off the strange amalgamation of weirdness expertly well – something few others could ever hope to.
