As good as Lorde is at dominating radio playlists, she doesn’t have the same natural supremacy in the club scene. While some of her tracks certainly don’t lack energy, she doesn’t tend to create music that makes itself a club playlist essential.

Fortunately, that’s where White Panda comes in with its flawless EDM reimagining of Lorde’s Perfect Places. Taking the relatable singalong aspects of the original and reinforcing it with an infectious hook, rousing rhythms and an unstoppable sense of momentum, the track sounds entirely organic and highlights the versatility of Lorde’s vocal.

It’s a powerful remix, but we’d expect nothing less from White Panda.
