Electronic artist forces himself to the fore in latest single.
Neon Tiger is not an artist who is keen to rest on his laurels. Earlier this month, he dropped Neon Rose, a well-received collaboration with Coyle Girelli. Without missing a beat, Neon Tiger has followed it up with new single Summer – featuring none other than himself on vocal duties.
Previously, we’ve only seen Tiger take a beatcrafting role, so Summer makes a significant dynamic shift for the artist. Still embued with a lively 80s vibe, the track is arguably his most infectious to date – the lead melody hooks are mesmerising, the sturdy beat is engulfing and the Daft Punk-esque digitalised vocal segments round off the track to electronic perfection.
While you can certainly tell by the deliveries that Neon Tiger is still nervous about being on vocals, the track remains a hugely enjoyable slice of electro ready to soundtrack late summer parties.
