Fingertips return to form with new single and video.
Fingertips are a Portuguese pop rock band that, whilst still relatively unknown outside their native Europe, have been active since 2000, releasing 6 albums to date, as well sharing a stage with some of the biggest names in contemporary music at festivals such as Rock in Rio.
Having kept fairly quiet since their most recent full length 2 in 2012, they’ve finally returned with a new single, Kiss Me, which is accompanied by a suitably sunny video filmed during their recent tour stop to Los Angeles.
The song itself is a return to form for the band – a confident, minor-key, bass heavy electropop track that exudes way more bravado and attitude than its sugary twee title may suggest. The video, meanwhile, makes full use of the summer-in-the-city vibes of bustling downtown LA, with evocative shots of Venice Beach pier and Instagram-worthy skyline backdrops. It’s a trendy, modern video for a trendy, modern track, and it’ll make you wish you were there to join in on the fun yourself.
