A song for the beer gardens

Draper gets a little bit cheesy for new music video.

Producer/Writer Draper has recently teamed up with Scottish synth-pop trio Prides to drop a video for their collaboration single Break Over You. It’s a case of 80’s a-go-go with crystal-synths, gated drums and talking guitar leads all rounded off with a stadium chorus.

This is paired with some admittedly cheesy visuals, shots of the artists along with a handful of people bopping lethargically around a white room, each getting a turn to mouth the lyrics to the camera. Draper, who recently had his first headline gig in Dalston’s Birthdays, knows how to create a track with that summery feel, combining a healthy mix of nostalgia with modern production tropes to make something that will perfectly accompany your beer-garden afternoons and Instagram filters through-out the warmer months.
