Irish alt-rockers release epic new music video.

 

Four years after their previous release, The Funeral Suits have returned with an interesting music video for their new single Tree of Life, directed by Crooked Gentlemen.

The track’s rising electronic atmosphere and powerful crescendo of a chorus are a perfect fit for the video; a cinematic yet dystopian take on the seven deadly sins, with political undertones that are particularly cutting in light of the recent Panama papers incident. The song was recorded with Jochen Schmalbach, known for his work with German industrial metal legends Rammstein, and was written by Ken Thomas, who has worked with Icelandic post-rockers Sigur Rós.
