Singer-songwriter performs brand new emotional ballad live

 

In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last year or so, Frances is one of the hottest new singer-songwriters in music today. She’s kinda like the next stage of Adele’s musical evolution, also able to play piano absurdly well. Oh, and she’s got a new single called Don’t Worry About Me.

But hot on the heels of dropping that single, Frances also performed it live and shared a well-shot video of that performance. While her vocals are usually pretty well performed in most of her singles, this live performance takes it to a new level — one where it feels like this is the definitive version of the single to hear. There may not be too many variations in terms of the notes hit (which in itself is worthy of praise), there’s something about the delivery and the physical emotion that makes this single a little bit more special. Plus the fact that it makes it strikingly obvious that this is just one lady and one piano, alone against the world… and winning.
