Electropop outfit pay tribute to David Bowie in moving music video.

 

A week ago at the time of posting, a star went out and the world lost a great source of musical magic and mystery in David Bowie.

We’ve said, really, more than enough on the subject. There really is nothing left to be said that has not already been said; no more things left to think that we haven’t cried about already.

So in fitting tribute to the man, the myth, the majesty that was David Bowie, electro-rockers Shatter Effect have covered Heroes in a contemporary electropop style. It works. And in case the emotional track itself wasn’t enough, the video manages to pay moving tribute to Ziggy himself.

Ashes to ashes, dust to stardust. RIP Bowie.
