Acoustic guitars and forests galore!

 

Nothing quite like a good mix of lilting acoustic guitars and videos shot in nature. Joe Dolman‘s latest music video for ‘On Your Own’ might pander to these clichés, but don’t fret too much: they’re clichés for a reason.

The combination is actually pretty relaxing, with shots focusing exclusively on Joe Dolman as the sole point of interest among the chill of nature. Which is fitting, really, since he’s a solo musician and that’s how it should be.

A rousing acoustic song set to footage, some of which is even in slow motion, shot in the midst of nature. It’s cliche, but you can’t argue that it works.
