As a teaser for their phenomenal debut album, Drakelow released a video of a stripped back version of one of the more beautiful moments of ‘Beauty In Disorder’, ‘Gone Too Far’.

With nothing but a piano and a guitar (hooked up, we notice, to an ElectroHarmonix Cathedral Reverb pedal to give it an extra field of texture and depth) and two strong voices that work in tandem, this rendition of the track really captures and accentuates the tender soul of the song. While extra instruments and production on the album make it sound more musically lush, there’s something humble and satisfying about this version.
