Polarsets – ‘Madrid’ Review

Let Summer begin with ‘Madrid’, the latest track from Polarsets and the lead from their debut album ‘Parasols’. It’s some breezy tropical indie-pop that melts into your ears with some bright guitars and sweet bass grooves.

Sounding like Alex Trimble if he caught himself in his zipper, the vocals are near-falsetto and lovely. They perfectly compliment the treble-focused instrumentation, sounding like angelic hamsters floating off in a cascading wave of indie goodness. And since it’s summer, there is no better way to escape any dull days or rain clouds than sticking this track on, loud, and feeling yourself drift off into bliss.

You can check out this song below. Best enjoyed loud, in the sun and with Sangria. And repeatedly.
