Watch The Sky manage to develop their sound on their newly released acoustic rendition of ‘Walls’. Putting a pop-punk sound into an acoustic format is something that is seldom disappointing, and ‘Walls is no exception’. The video is simple enough – just footage of the band rehearsing. It’s not glamorous or extravagant, it’s just stripped back and enjoyable. Like the track itself. You can watch the video below.
I’ve got a real turbulent relationship with pop-punk. I’ve mentioned it before, in a previous review, but it bears repeating: pop-punk has a habit of being painfully generic and falling into stereotypes.
