An uncompromising EP of epic proportions.

 

The uncompromising production style of Drunken Masters is on full display in their latest release. A lot of time, thought and consideration has gone into the Places EP, with the idea behind it being a collaboration with a different artist, in a different city, for each tune.

The EP does not disappoint. Roving basslines and cutting edge vocals are the order of the day, with sharp technical flair as a constant. Everyday starts proceedings with HDbeenDope coming in with razor bars, before you are transported to London via Run This with the capital’s Capo Lee. What I Want is a prowling effort with NYC’s Thutmose before Komm teste with Nimo (created in Berlin) rounds off this standout affair.
