Llovers’ new single shimmers with indie-pop greatness.

Packed with glistening hooks and the anthemic quality to match, there’s very little to say about Llovers‘ new single, A Second With You, that doesn’t become immediately apparent on first listen. The single follows a strong run for the Teesside outfit and continues to see the band display their songwriting prowess and blend genres to perfection.

Discussing the creativity process, co-frontman Jack Brooks explained: “The track is about my own disproportionate response to normal things in everyday life. I think most people my age romanticise so many things. The intention of the track was to celebrate the positively naïve nature of youth, while also poking fun at the reality of the outcome, which is actually something that’s just a bit oddly obsessive”.
