Tender balladry marks a promising year for artist.

MarieMarie has been working towards her debut slowly and deliberately since appearing last year. Now to kick off the new year, she’s just released her stunning new single A Beautiful Life. 

Replete with silken soul-infused vocals, it’s an invigorating cut that veers towards pop’s current fragile emotional state. There are twangs of Banks and Lana Del Rey in the tender balladry, but A Beautiful Life is a track that lingers in its own league. Laced with pitch-shifted bass harmonies and strong chord progressions, MarieMarie provides invention within an untapped depth of feeling.

Alongside the release of this comes a rework from Berlin’s Bad Paris. Expect big things from MarieMarie in 2018.
