Mako drops energetic and infectious new single.

Currently out for release through Ultra Music is the softly shimmering “Breathe” from LA outfit Mako. Until recently, Mako was a duo, but now it is headed up by songwriter and producer Alex Seaver, who shows unreal talent with this track.

Given space to develop and become more urgent, Breathe is led by flicks of guitar, instantly infectious male vocals and a bubbling electronic energy that moves with fluidity through the bassline.

“The song is built around a pained style: a personal and soft voice telling an uplifting story,” says Seaver of Breathe. “It’s ultimately something that’s powerful and moving, but it doesn’t come without a little bit of pain attached to it as well”.
