Uppermost’s new video shows that words are overrated.
Music videos are tricky things for any artist, but it becomes a lot harder to tell or expand on a lyrical narrative when the track itself is pure instrumental. This is difficult, but not impossible, as Uppermost‘s latest video shows.
Created to accompany recent single Make A Change, the music video features little more than a scenic west coast backdrop and footage of street sports – BMX, skating, mountain climbing, etc.
While the music itself is an intense electronic number, it is lyricless and has no specific story it needs to tell – so Uppermost intelligently decides to instead set the scene. This is his scene, and these are the people who will indulge in his epic brand of electronic energy.
