New single from NHOAH is an atmospheric slice of euro-electronic goodness.
Electronic producer NHOAH has been active in the music industry for more than three decades, and in that time he’s amassed something of a cult following for his numerous musical ventures. After two years of experimentation in Berlin, the artist is back with Abstellgleis, his latest single and the lead from his upcoming album West Berlin.
Abstellgleis is the introduction to West Berlin’s emotive second half, with the poignant keys keeping things organic in amongst the analogue sequences. With arpeggiated synth lines that transport us back to a bygone era, and a strong pervading narrative, NHOAH takes us on a journey with this robust beauty.
Of the single, NHOAH explains that “Abstellgleis is a German expression meaning one’s last ever stop. The whole idea is about gaining momentum and then being forced to stop for reasons beyond your control.”
