All that glitters is not gold, but is still valuable.

 

JFLE has returned with a brand new video, this time for new single I Fluffed My Lines, and it’s a strikingly minimalistic affair.

By this stage, JFLE has a well-earned for pretty simple music videos – typically, they involve him as the central point and there’s very little else going on. This time around is marginally different in that, while he is still the focal point, he is largely in silhouette for the duration of the video. Fortunately for us, his shimmering and shining outfit isn’t particularly difficult to spot.

The artistically-shot video is what we’d expect from JFLE. His music certainly falls on the artier side of the musical spectrum, blending pop stylings with ambient and experimental sounds. I Fluffed My Lines continues this trend, capturing a gentle sense of fragility while simultaneously featuring occasional sounds that are almost like a synthesised jackhammer. It’s an enlightening listening experience and arguably the most dramatic musical offering from JFLE to date.
