A fresh take on alt-rock

New single from Miniature Tigers is unlike anything else.

If there is one thing that we love here, it’s music that breaks the stream of genre-appeasing monotony that flows through the heart of the new music landscape. Thankfully, Miniature Tigers do just that on their latest single Crying in the sunshine.

Even better, the band waste no time in making their song stand out. While the core of the track is built on a constant acoustic guitar rhythm and run-of-the-mill drum beat, it’s the additional synth line that makes all the difference as it perpetually dips in the background of the chorus. It give an otherwise melancholy song a chipper feel, making this three minutes of joy rather than an emotionally draining experience.
