Passion and pain

Words and Noises combine sexual tension with keys.

It’s been a long, long time since we last caught sound from Words & Noises. After over a year, the duo has returned with latest single Play Your Cards Right – a song that bridges the gap between passion and pain with lyrics and tonality that scream (not literally) sexual tension.

Keeping their trademark keys-propelled musical stylings, this time around the music is more intense than ever before. From the second the track starts, the keys are off and away – worlds apart from the last we heard from Words & Noises, when their music rung with an early Coldplay feel. This time around, the band are demanding and forceful in their music and save the fragility and emotion exclusively for the vocals.

It’s a fresh start for Words and Noises, and they’ve hit the ground running.
