There’s a lot of vocalists that attempt the piano-accompanied solo piece, but few have as beautiful vocals as Lauren Moscato. Her latest track, Someday, is a beautiful ballad that exemplifies the powerful vocalwork of Moscato.

Testament to her voice, the music itself is gentle but fits into the standard piano ballad mold. There isn’t much in the way of deviation, other than a beat, that would make the backdrop itself stand out from most other piano pieces. Yet the song feels better due to the vocals, which are the bleeding, emotive heart of the song. It is Moscato’s name on the track and it is her voice, and her voice alone, that makes it. She is the focal point, and for gloriously good reason.
