We love Emma Gillespie (AKA Emma’s Imagination). We may have had a bit of an uncertain relationship with her first album, but we’re all past that. She’s come a long way since her big break on Sky’s Must Be The Music, and lucky us: she’s just announced that a new album is on the way.

Gillespie has been pretty quiet so far in 2014. Nobody’s really heard too much from her since her Underway EP, but we’ve been eager to hear more because we absolutely loved Underway. So we’re pretty excited to hear about this upcoming album!

But sadly, Gillespie is being pretty reserved with what she reveals. In the announcement post, all that she gives us is a photo (the one above) and the line “new album on the way…”. You can view the original post here.

You’re really mean, Emma. But if the new album is a nice mix of the dark maturity Underway and Stand Still’s bright-eyed sugar rushes, we’ll forgive you. Okay?
