London-based band Syd Kemp have just dropped the video to ‘As I Don’t Get It’, the opening track from their upcoming debut EP ‘The Horror’. It’s a genre-bending affair with repetitive indie-gaze guitar lines and hints of brass, as well as a distorted megaphone-esque vocal that feels like it could do with a bit more presence.
But more importantly, the video is below. It’s a smart video that mocks and spoofs the over-sexualisation of music videos by mainstream artists. And it might just leave you asking yourself some very deep and meaningful questions.
