Gengahr – ‘Heroine’ Review

Modern Indie-Pop with a vintage edge

Gengahr’s latest track ‘Heroine’ is more modern indie-pop with an Earlybird filter. Calling once more on the ghosts of Indie past, ‘Heroine’ reins in the baggy sound we talked about on ‘Powder’ while remaining flusteringly psychedelic.

Between the psychedelia tinted guitar tones, the tender vocals and the solid bass groove, ‘Heroine’ becomes a spider web of silky smooth sounds stretching out in all directions to ensnare any unsuspecting listeners.

From first listen to fifteenth replay, the song remains refreshingly addictive and memorable. Gengahr’s web has trapped you, and you’ll be stuck hypnotically listening to this track until ‘A Dream Outside’ drops this summer.

‘Heroine’: Effectively titled, and another hit from Gengahr.
