We gave a full review of ‘Wasted’, the latest single from Mary Joanna & The Southern Electrikk, not long ago. It’s a great alt-rock song, soaked in cool dramatic tones and a gritty bassline that rumbles persistently beneath.
The video focuses little on the Southern Electrikk part of the band moniker and more on Mary Joanna, as she mouths the song while wandering around some wooded area near a stream. It’s also all shot in monochrome, to add to the southern seriousness the track oozes.
